Hva er personlige data?
Personal data is information that identifies you or tells something about you directly or can be traced back to you. There are many types of personal data. This includes your name, address and email address, as well as your computer's IP address. Personal data refers to any information that can be linked to you. Special information, such as someone's race, religion or medical history, is considered 'sensitive personal data'.
How does iMedical handle your personal data?
iMedical stores your personal data to the extent necessary to provide services to you and to the extent required or permitted by law. Personal data that is no longer necessary is deleted as quickly as possible. iMedical uses secure systems to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.
Where is the information obtained from?
Personal information is collected from those who visit and/or shop from our website.
If you are in contact with us by phone, email or in person, your information will be stored and processed according to the same rules as when visiting/shopping on our websites.
Customers are not listed on our electronic newsletter without their consent.
Who do we share your personal data with?
The information collected is not sold or forwarded to others outside our control. However, this does not prevent us from using subcontractors (data processors) to perform parts of the data processing.
We use external data processors for e-commerce systems (website platform with integrations), email and customer service systems, accounting systems, analytics, payment services and marketing.
Our data processors are bound by agreements that regulate how the data will be processed.
In addition, information will be passed on to external suppliers of logistics and transport services, so that the order can be packed and delivered to you.
Data processing agreement
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is an agreement between a controller and a processor that sets out how the processor handles personal data. For example, iMedical (the controller) and an IT service provider (the processor) will in all cases enter into a written agreement before any personal data can be distributed. iMedical is responsible for ensuring that this is done. All external parties with whom we do business and with whom personal data is processed have their own agreement with iMedical that meets the legal requirements.
Do you want us to change or delete your personal data?
You can contact us at any time to request access to your personal data and/or to amend, supplement, delete or restrict your personal data if it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant. You can also object to the processing of your personal data. To have your personal data amended or deleted, please contact us at info@imedical.no.
Right to erase or move your data
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has also introduced new rights: the right to be forgotten and the right to data portability. You can also benefit from these new rights. We will do our utmost to fulfill your request within a reasonable time.
Confidentiality
Our employees who work with medical information are bound by confidentiality. This means that patient data cannot be shared with others.
